One Week Review of Stats
Important to all fields and especially in graduate school, being able to understand statistics is about as important as being able to read. If your stats skills are a little rusty then our bootcamp is for you! In our intense review, we will go over ideas from the standard deviation all the way to hypothesis testing and the p-value. While we do cover techniques, a great deal of time will be spent on interpretation and understanding what the statistics mean.
For the same price as a few hours of tutoring, our bootcamps use video lessons, practice problems, and interaction to make sure you are at the top of your game. Your instructor is always there ready to answer any question you may have whether it is through email or during live online office hours. In other words, its like having a private tutor design a class just for you.
Note about software: We will (mostly) not be doing hand calculations in this course and computer output will commonly be used. It is not necessary for students to have a particular software program as the focus will be on reading output from programs and correctly interpreting the results. Options for software, both free and paid will be discussed at the start of the course.

What math should I already know?
You should be familiar with basic algebra techniques such as solving equations.
